Looking For Opportunity
1. Four Opportunities:
1. Next-generation Technology will enter the marketplace
a.) http://www.businessinsider.com/citi-future-opportunities-future-shocks-2014-10?op=1
b.) Everyday there are new advancements made that we do not know about or have witnessed. Non-Mobile technology will continue to grow and shock the world for years to come.
c.) Future generations and people now.
d.) I think this opportunity is easy to exploit because consumers are always wanting the new trendy device and the best on the market.
- I saw this as an opportunity because most people today are so consumed by their phones and what their phones can do. They don't realize the other opportunities that technology has to offer. These types of technology have yet to have a big impact on society because people have yet to notice them.
2. Commodities will be Cheap
a.) http://fortune.com/2015/12/28/global-economy/
b.) An opportunity exists here for the U.S because commodity's can now be purchased through the U.S rather than china. This allows us to gain profits in areas that we would not before.
c.) The U.S economy as a whole.
d.) This opportunity is difficult to exploit because of the demand for products. Our commodities might now always be the best option.
- I saw this as an opportunity because it allows the U.S to gain a little power in the trading industry over China.
3. Overtime Regulations
a.)http://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7671-regulatory-issues-changes.html
b.) An opportunity exist here for the employees and future employees of a business. This is an opportunity to make more money and start establishing yourself in a business.
c.) The customer will be the employees
d.) This is a difficult opportunity to exploit because it puts hard decisions on the employers. They may have to do labor cuts in order to meet the needs.
- This is an opportunity for people who are not business owners, to go out and find a job that pays well. I saw this opportunity because it reminds me of myself. If I hear of or see a job posting that is going to pay this amount of dollars I am going tot make the opportunity to go and apply.
4. Employee Pay
a.)http://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7671-regulatory-issues-changes.html
b.) This leads me to believe an opportunity because employers will have to follow the guidelines on new minimum wage laws which will offer high wages for employees.
c.) The employees will be the customers.
d.) This is also hard to exploit because it hurts the employers.
- I saw this as an opportunity because it allows people without college degrees to earn a little more than $8.00 an hour. For people who could not afford to get a higher education.

My Entrepreneurship Story
I have had the opportunity to work for two entrepreneurs for about 4 years while in high school and in college. These two people started a business in the citrus industry and they focus on selling fresh fruit, orange juice, and they do wholesale. My time with this company and I'm sure my future encounters with this company was a very good learning experience. I learned that there is always a risk being taken and decisions to be made. I hope to be a successful entrepreneur like them one day.
