Hi Daniel,
ReplyDeleteThese are some great opportunities. I had no idea that the Florida Bookstore on University is closing! For the past three years I have gone there to buy Smokin' Notes and Barron's books as an additional study tool as well as occasionally browsing their sale section. This will be a big opportunity considering there are so many people that enjoyed the store and relied on it for their study tools and books.

Hi Daniel,
ReplyDeleteThese are all good opportunities. As far as the Balls problem goes, this is the first I am hearing of it, and I'm really hoping it's fixed by the time I'm back in Gainesville this fall! I also didn't know that the Florida Bookstore was closing. This could possibly be an opportunity for the bookstore on campus to do things better and not go out the same way. I think our bookstore and all bookstores should focus on doing online business.

These ARE some great opportunities! Like Kimberly, I had no idea about the Florida Bookstore closing. While this is sad that this longstanding business will be closing, it also creates an opportunity for that building space. Something wonderful may move in and provide services or products.
ReplyDeleteI noticed in the articles that you chose, probably the same for mine, is that more than one person or company has this problem. Take the building project in Siesta Key, for example, it's not only the company that has the problem, but the citizens of Siesta Key as well.
